Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Matchlock (“we”, “us”) collects when you use the Matchlock desktop application and this website, and how we use it. This is a draft and should be reviewed before launch.

Information we collect

• Steam account. When you sign in, we receive your public Steam ID via Steam OpenID to identify your account and match history. We never receive your Steam password.
• Match data. Publicly available Deadlock match and player data associated with your account, used to power the scoreboard, scouting and history features.
• Diagnostics. Basic, anonymous app telemetry (crashes, feature usage) to help us improve stability and performance.

How we use information

We use this information solely to provide and improve Matchlock: to display your stats, scout opponents, surface meta and patch information, and diagnose problems. We do not sell your data.

Data sharing

We share data only with infrastructure providers needed to run the service (for example hosting and database providers), and only as required to operate Matchlock.

Retention

We retain account and diagnostic data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account data at any time.
